Market
From 1917 to 1984, the Marina Market site was the factory of Henry Ford & Sons, manufacturing motor vehicles on the banks of the River Lee and one of Cork’s largest employers.
In recent years, it has been transformed into the Marina Market - a community evolving and growing in the heart of the city. Marina Market has grown the number of full-time food & drink vendors operating in the market to over 30. This makes our food offering one of the most diverse in the city.
Marina Market hosts various small businesses, traders and artists from Friday through to Sunday each week. Supporting the arts, local crafts and producers is a key goal of the market.
Only a ten-minute walk from the city centre, and open 7 days a week, the Marina Market has become a hub of the Cork community.
